VintageFilmClub:

For a year we have been seeking out cinematic gems that have been lost to Western eyes. We will be releasing them with subtitles lovingly crafted by native speakers.

The films in this initial collection all hail from the Lenfilm studio, from a pool of thousands we have handpicked only the finest examples of the varied genres and styles of Soviet and Russian film.

Some open up a window onto lost times while others illuminate themes that cut across cultures and centuries. They will shine once more.
